Meeting! This promises to be a very informative program with outstanding
speakers on the topic of medical marijuana.
We will be meeting at the Ann Arbor City Club, 1830 Washtenaw Avenue,
Ann Arbor. The Social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., Dinner at 6:45 p.m.,
and the program at 7:30 p.m.
The evening¹s program is the ³The State of Medical Marijuana in Washtenaw
County.² Daniel J. Clauw, MD, Donald R. Vereen, MD, and Mark A. Weiner,
MD, comprise the panel of featured speakers which will be moderated by
Edward P. Washabaugh, MD.
The Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS) is accredited by the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing
medical education for physicians. The MSMS designates this educational
activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) . Physicians
should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation
in the activity.
Nurses: The ACCME is approved by the Board of Nursing as an acceptable
provider of continuing education for license renewal or relicensure.
The following are the educational objectives of the program:
* Physicians will recognize their legal limits in applying the Medical
Marijuana Law in their practice.
* Physicians will be able to evaluate and decide when medical marijuana is
